Herros is a powerful, substantial German Shepherd male who brings together impressive breed type, working ability, strong character, and proven genetics. From his masculine head and rich pigmentation to his powerful movement and commanding presence, Herros represents many of the qualities we value in a German Shepherd male at Haus Neufus.
Herros is a large, strong and substantial male with a big, expressive head, very good pigmentation, high withers and a strong overall appearance. His breed survey highlights his good angulation and powerful gait, while also recognizing his pronounced working temperament. At approximately 90 pounds and 65 centimeters, he is an impressive male with the substance and masculinity we look for in our sires.
Beyond his appearance, Herros has demonstrated his working ability by earning his BH, AD, IGP3 and KKL. Achieving IGP3, the highest level of IGP competition, reflects the trainability, drive, confidence and working character behind him. His KKL further demonstrates that he has been evaluated not only for his structure, but also for the temperament and working qualities important to the German Shepherd Dog.
Herros has also proven himself in the show ring. His accomplishments include SG1 at the 2021 Mid East Regional Conformation Championship, V2 at the 2022 Horand Hundesport Conformation Show, and V2 at the 2023 O.G. Wildhorse Club Conformation Show. These results demonstrate his ability to compete successfully in the working classes while maintaining the structure, movement and breed type expected of a quality German Shepherd.
Just as importantly, Herros brings strong health credentials to our breeding program. His hips and elbows are rated a1 normal, and he is clear for OCD, DM and MDR1. These health results, combined with his working titles, show record and breed survey, make him a well-rounded male whose value extends far beyond appearance alone.
