Zitan is the kind of German Shepherd who leaves an impression the moment you meet him. He combines masculinity, beautiful breed type, strong working ability, and an exceptional temperament — qualities that make him an important part of the Haus Neufus breeding program.

Zitan is a substantial, powerful male with a strong masculine head, rich pigmentation, excellent expression and beautiful, ground-covering movement. As impressive as he is physically, his character is what makes him truly special. He is confident, stable, social and clear-headed, with a wonderful ability to distinguish between work and everyday life.

He is a dog who truly enjoys training and has the drive, intelligence and willingness to work, while remaining an easy and enjoyable companion outside of training. Zitan has successfully earned his IGP2, demonstrating his trainability, working ability and strong character.

Zitan also comes from an exceptional pedigree. His father is an extraordinary 11× VA-rated male, a distinction that speaks to the quality, consistency and strength behind Zitan’s bloodlines. That pedigree is reflected in Zitan himself through his breed type, movement, masculinity, temperament and working ability.

In the show ring, Zitan has also proven his quality, earning his V rating in the Working Long Coat Male class. His combination of correct structure, beautiful movement, working ability and stable character represents exactly what we look for in a male for our breeding program.

Most importantly, Zitan is beginning to prove his value through his offspring. We are seeing him contribute beautiful breed type, rich pigmentation, strong heads, confident personalities and wonderful family temperaments. These are the qualities we hope to continue preserving for future generations.

Zitan represents our vision for Haus Neufus — a beautiful German Shepherd with the ability to work, the confidence to handle the world, and the temperament to be a devoted family companion.
