Jermaine Jackson, known to us as Jerzy, came into my life in a way I will never forget.

One day, a very good breeder friend called me and told me she had a very high-quality male puppy that she believed would be a perfect fit for my breeding program. The moment I saw Jerzy, I knew he had to be mine. There was simply no other way to describe it.

Jerzy came to me at just nine weeks old, and even at that young age I could already see so much potential in him. He was a beautiful, happy puppy with a wonderful attitude toward life and the kind of presence that immediately caught my attention.

Today, Jerzy is over ten months old, and he continues to show me so many of the qualities I look for in a German Shepherd. He has a very stable temperament, loves people, loves other dogs, and is naturally easygoing and pleasant to live with.

And then there is his coat. People are constantly amazed by Jerzy’s beautiful, thick, long coat. It gives him an incredible presence and, combined with his expression and breed type, makes him a young male who is very difficult not to notice.

At the same time, he is showing very promising qualities on the training field. Jerzy loves to work, loves playing with the ball and already enjoys bite work on the sleeve. His enthusiasm, confidence and willingness to engage make training with him exciting, and I am very curious to see how far we can go together.

Jerzy has also already made us incredibly proud in the show ring. So far, he has been shown three times, including at the Canadian Sieger Show, and every single time he earned VP1 — Very Promising 1st Place. Three shows, three VP1 ratings and three first-place finishes is an exciting beginning for such a young male.

His pedigree is equally impressive. Jerzy is a son of VA Alta-Tollhaus Toronto and V Jeamy vom Haus Lichter, bringing strong show quality and proven German Shepherd bloodlines from both sides.

At just six months old, Jerzy also had preliminary X-rays taken of his hips, elbows, spine and LUW. We were very pleased with what we saw, and his early X-rays look very promising for his future development. Of course, final orthopedic evaluations will come when he is old enough, but we are very happy with his development so far.

Jerzy is still very young, and there is a lot of growing and maturing ahead of him. But what I see so far makes me incredibly excited about his future.

Stable temperament, beautiful breed type, an incredible long coat, an easygoing personality, enthusiasm for work and a perfect start in the show ring — Jerzy is already showing me why I knew from the first moment that he belonged with me.
